Waterloo House in Ballyorgan, County Limerick, formerly known as Ballyorgan Glebe and Kilflyn Rectory, is a handsome and unusual building with four corner turrets that once served as a rectory to Kilflyn Church. A plaque on the rear wall states it was built by loan and gift to the Rev John Murphy from the Board of First Fruits in 1817, though First Fruits does not recognise it as one of theirs, and historical evidence suggests an earlier incarnation of the property existed. Sold by the Church of Ireland in 1961, the property has since been in private hands. Restoration efforts are underway on the surrounding grounds and woodlands, with plans to open barn-let accommodation for visitors, host events and reinstate the kitchen garden. Available as a film location; planned barn-let accommodation and events hosting.
